A radiant and shiny complexion is the desire of all and the under eye dark circles are a sore sight to see on a glowing complexion. The dark circles need to be put away to maintain those awe-inspiring looks. We can enhance our looks by the applications of various chemical laden products but why not shine away with some natural home remedies.
The skin under the eyes is very delicate and gets discolored very easily. There are various products available right under our noses and they can be used to get rid of the dark circles surrounding the eye area. Just open that kitchen larder and pick what we tell you.
Cucumber and potato juice
Using cut potato and cucumber slices on the eyes can help diminish the dark circles that surround the eye. Cut potato and cucumber applied on closed eyes also help in soothing the tired eyes. If you are uncomfortable with the application of the slices extract the juice, and apply on shut eyes with the cotton ball. This juice can be left on the eyes and left unwashed the whole night through for effective results.
The tangy mint
Crush a handful of mint leaves and apply these along with the juice on closed eyes. This may seem to be a little messy but it is a question of only 5-10 minutes, you can wash your face or remove the paste with a damp cloth. With regular applications this will lighten the under eye skin and also help relax the eyes.
Tomato
Make a paste out of a little turmeric powder, gram flour, one tablespoon of lemon juice and 1-2 tomatoes. Mix these ingredients smoothly in a blender till they form a thick paste. Close your eyes and apply this paste around them. Leave it on for about 10-20 minutes and then wash it off. Apply this tomato paste two to three times weekly and watch the delicate under eye skin turn lighter with time.
Glycerin and orange juice
Mix the juice of an orange with glycerin and apply on the blemished skin. This liquidy paste can be applied all over the face also and is a great skin lightener that will make the skin soft, smooth and shiny.
Almond oil
Grab a bottle of almond oil that is easily available in the markets and apply tenderly to the delicate skin under the eyes before bedtime. Leave the oil application till the next morning. Next morning, wash off the oil with water. This needs to be done regularly for about 30 days. The under eye dark circles almost diminish totally if the oil is regularly applied for about one month.
There may be hundreds of different under eye creams available in the market but why spend a fortune to harm your tender skin. Why not grab those homemade goodies to bring the glow back to your skin?
