You must have seen this actress do marvels in movies like ‘The Devil’s Advocate’, ‘Hancock’ etc but now this 37-year-old “The Devil’s Advocate” star has pledged her support in the campaign against AIDS during a recent visit to Youth Ambassador Project in South Africa. The most elegant lady ever, Charlize stressed on the role of youth of the world in fighting this deadly disease, reported Contactmusic.
“When I see the enthusiasm and dedication of these young people, who are making such a vital contribution to preventing the spread of HIV with support from the Global Fund, I am fired up with hope and optimism,” said Charlize.
She further added, “We have made great strides in the fight against the disease in a short number of years and we are getting closer to finally defeating this pandemic. With the necessary funding, we can be the generation that defeats AIDS. The moment is right now”.
The Youth Ambassador Project basically works for training people in KwaZulu Natal province. Its main aim is to spread information regarding causes and treatments of this deadly disease. Its main motive is to remove this fatal disease from the globe.
The South Africa-born, amazingly beautiful and talented actress states that the world has the ability and right to be introduced in “an AIDS-free generation.” She says that the goal can become a reality with strong leadership like that displayed by Zuma.
Theron herself ushered Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project in 2007. This was done so as to engage African youth in preventing and eradicating AIDS. During a meeting with South African President Jacob Zuma, she held out her support in the campaign.
