Beware! Needles used at your local salon can put you at risk

Women usually like getting themselves pampered at salons, but the prices of even the basic services at professional salons are touching the sky these days. But that cannot curb our beautiful ladies from going and getting there senses gratified. So they tend to explore nearby local salons. But they are unaware of the hazards… many of these salons cut on hygiene and safety of there customers to reduce down their cost.
These days, needles are used in almost every cosmetic field. There are so many women out there who want to get their Botox, facial filling etc done but in order to avoid losing extra bucks they try out local salons or in some cases… people tend to perform needle operations at their home themselves.
Using needles for various cosmetic jobs is not a child’s play. Proper guideline are needed to be followed. Generally these local salons or the people who do this job at home fail to adopt the set standards and hence put themselves or their customers at risk.
Diseases like hepatitis, HIV, cancer etc can be contacted and in severe cases it can even be fatal. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (Nice), has stated that this act of negligence is responsible for the cases of blood borne diseases coming up frequently.
Professor Mike Kelly, director at Nice has stated that: “We’ve seen an increase in the use of performance and image-enhancing
drugs such as anabolic steroids, Botox, tanning agents and dermal fillers like collagen. More teenagers are injecting these performance and image-enhancing drugs too. Due to the lack of regulation in the cosmetic sector it is impossible to know how many patients could be at risk of diseases”
“We’re updating our guidance to make sure all these groups of people are considered in the planning and delivery of needle and syringe programmes.” So if you really care for your life then it is better to spend some extra bucks or follow natural ways as life is priceless do not put it on risk.
